Presentation Guidelines

Poster Presentation Guidelines

All presenters are required to attend the poster session that will take place on a date to be announced. Posters should be no larger than 48” x 48” in size. Abstract title, author names, affiliations should appear on the top of the poster. A simple font is recommended and lettering for the title should be at least one inch tall. The authors’ names and affiliations may be somewhat smaller. Do not prepare a poster as if it were a manuscript. Limit text and use primarily tables and figures to communicate your work. Lettering for text and illustrations should range between 6 mm and 12 mm. A numbered board space will be assigned to each presenter and pushpins will be provided to attach the poster to the board. We ask that all presenters display their poster by 10:30 am on August 8 and leave it posted until the end of the day on August 11. The poster room will be dismantled on August 11.

Oral Presentation Guidelines

All oral presenters are required to submit a manuscript to be published in the conference proceedings. Information about the conference proceedings can be found here. Oral presentations will be 15-20 minutes in length, depending on the number of abstracts submitted. Authors are encouraged to allow for 3-5 minutes for questions at the end of their presentations. Presentations should be provided in Microsoft Powerpoint format (.ppt or .pptx).
